A foot or toe wound that has not closed after a month of good care.

Osteomyelitis that keeps coming back despite antibiotics and surgery.

Fast-moving infections after the hospital has stabilized them.

Sudden hearing loss

Hearing that dropped in one ear over hours or days.

Sudden vision loss from a blocked retinal artery

A sudden, painless loss of vision in one eye.
